Also the change in taste is evident and we share our childhood memories about rich tastes, to the younger generation.
In order to bring those memories back along with better nutrition, GreenPoshan promotes naturally grown & green processed products under 3 categories
- Chemical free organically grown groceries – Grains, Lentils, Pulses, spices etc.
- Convenience food produced with traditional methods and without any harmful and chemical preservatives, by the various cottage industries run by women.
- Personal care products made from everyday natural ingredients by several Mahila Bachat Gat.
The farm products offered by GreenPoshan are organically grown by
- Organic certified farmers like the ones who come under the PGS certification (Participatory Guarantee System for India, (Decentralized Organic Farming Certification System), Government of India)
- Traditional and tribal farmers who produce using our ancient agricultural techniques i.e. without the use of chemical fertilizers & pesticides or Genetically modified seeds.
GreenPoshan process:
Once procured from the above listed farmers, our team sorts the produce as certified and non-certified products to maintain the organic transparency.
The produce from non-certified farmers are periodically sent to APEDA approved laboratories for chemical residue checks. Every product is thoroughly cleaned and examined.
The procured items are transferred in the SaveGrain® Bags to prevent moisture ingress, ensure no harm causes to the produce, preserve the aroma & protect the produce from polluting agents. These bags are reusable and recyclable.
