The Green Schools International Foundation is a registered Nonprofit Organisation, established to foster a generation of environmentally conscious, sustainably minded leaders in Nigeria and beyond by providing education and resources that promote green practices, environmental stewardship, sustainable development and green growth. Our mission is to empower schools, students, teachers and communities in Nigeria through education and initiatives that advance sustainability, environmental conservation, renewable energy and climate action. Core Objectives (i) Integrate sustainability and environmental education into school curriculum across Nigeria. (ii) Promote green practices in schools, such as tree planting, waste management, and renewable energy adoption. (iii) Support underserved communities and schools by providing resources for sustainable infrastructure and eco-friendly projects. (iv) Develop the next generation of Nigerian leaders with the knowledge and skills to address environmental challenges and drive climate solutions. (v) Foster partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and private organizations to scale environmental education initiatives.
