Founded in 1980 by Richard Green, Green Specialty Services was created to provide expertly machined products and metallurgical test samples while keeping our Texas values and principles as the foresight of our decision-making. Over the years, we have provided service to aerospace, construction, government, and a wide range of other industries in the continued effort to be the leader of precision testing components. In 2018, Richard brought in the third generation of the family to help run and sustain his legacy. With the addition of Jake Willis, the company began knocking on the door of new untapped avenues that Jake led the way for. With Richard’s trust in Jake, he appointed him as the CEO to continue the efforts thus far. Jake began asking ‘why’ we couldn’t do something and leaning into finding a solution to move forward and expand the company’s reach even further. In 2021, we outgrew our facility and had to find a bigger home. We moved into a 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility but remained in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area which we have always called home. Green Specialty is now a worldwide leader in manufacturing metallurgical test samples such as notched tensile bars, charpy impacts, and fatigue coupons along with other hydrogen embrittlement test samples. Our products are in over 50 countries that trust our process and the high level of expectations we set for ourselves as we strive to perfect the AS 9100D safety standards that our clients can count on when doing business with us.
