Green Water Technologies is a General Electric (GE) Pro Elite dealer located in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2010, Green Water Technologies has quickly become one of the area’s leading water filtration companies, offering clean water to a diverse range of clientele throughout South Texas.
The idea for Green Water Technologies came in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina caused extensive damage throughout Texas and Louisiana. The founder took a keen interest in water quality and began researching ways to improve filtration and sanitation in the area. In May of 2006, the founder of Green Water Technologies moved to Oklahoma City to train with a local water products distribution company and relocated to Dallas in 2007 as an independent consultant, where he trained salespeople on how to market water purification products.
In August 2007, Green Water Technologies was awarded a contract with GE to consult in Texas and develop distribution and sales channels statewide. That same month, the future Green Water Technologies owner secured consumer finance agreements with large financial institutions such as Dow, Preferred Credit, Carmel Financial, and Bank of America to provide consumers affordable lending options for water filtration products.
