About GreenDense
GreenDense is a project financed by Interreg North-West Europe. The goal of the project is to increase the green coverage where it is needed most - in dense urban areas. The project will be implemented in seven pilot cities in Dordrecht (NL) Brugges & Mechelen (BE), Brest (FR), Bremen (DE) and Cork (IE). The pilots will build upon active community participation and will deliver benefits for climate change resilience, natural environment, mental and physical health. The project is supported by three expert organisations in urban ecology and placemaking: Stipo (NL), Urban Ecology Lab from TU Delft (NL) and Plante et Cité (FR).
