At Greener Infrastructure Consulting, our purpose is to improve places for people and the planet. The way we traditionally plan and manage our cities is having increasing impacts on our health and the environment. Urban ecosystems are being incrementally lost through development whilst also deteriorating due to the impacts of climate change. These biodiversity and climate crises are interlinked and require integrated solutions. We are passionate about reducing the impact humanity is having on the natural environment and the role that existing urban areas have in providing space for greening to bring back nature for the benefit of the people who live there. We know that by leaving space, designing well and providing good quality, well maintained greening we can markedly increase the wellbeing of people, and the quantum of biodiversity in our cities.
