Malik Barkat Ali Attique (Late) was the founder of GREENGROUP. In 1940 entered in business with the cultivation of Pakistan’s Best Quality Basmati Rice on Huge Area in the most-eastern part of Punjab that is called “Rice Bowl” in Punjab. In few years he became one of the largest Rice and other Agro Commodities Producers. He was a prominent Muslim League Leader close associate of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah. He had fully participated in Quaid-e-Azam’s Muslim League for independence moments and upto last moment of Life. He volunteered himself for the welfare of Pakistanis People. Mr. Barkat Ali Attique has been headed for various Political, Social and Cultural Organizations under the banner of Musim Legue. He was President of Magalias Quaid-e-Azam and also Vice President of Muslim League Punjab. Mr. Barkat Ali Attique has expanded business in Karachi by opening a shop in the heart of Asia’a largest Agro Commodities market. Jodia Bazar in the name of “Pakistan Traders” assigning his son Mr. Malik Zahid Attique the present M.D and Chief Executive of GREENGROUP. Mr. Malik Zahid Attique has achieved lot of success in supplying Bulk Rice supplies to Rice Export Corporation of Pakistan and also supplied rice to other Export Houses on a very large scale through his own established firm namely Pakistan International Trading Company after 1990. Mr. Malik Zahid Attique is also a very prominent business man known as a well establish and reputed Stockiest, Millers and Exporters of Rice. Day and night he is doing his best to apply such techniques that may improve Pakistani Rice Quality acceptable on Top Priority in Overseas market for the foreign exchange earning benefit of Pakistan.
