In 1988 Greenland Group acquired manpower recruiting license for its strategic business unit- Greenland Overseas. Soon after starting its activity Greenland Overseas drove itself in the position of one of the leading manpower agencies of Bangladesh. Greenland's efficient human resource, superior service, experience, commitment to customer, customer oriented strategies & dynamic management enabled the company to spread it's business in different related fields. Thus Greenland Group soon initiated and acquired business in human resource tapping and placing up the line and down the line through the Group's other business units such as Greenland Training Center and Greenland Overseas Tourism. Greenland Group has its wing in the service sector in the form of Greenland Services, which is exploring and providing services in new avenues in various fields especially in the financial sector. Greenland Group continues its core business, trading through its business units Greenland Trading & Contracting and GL International (Incorporated in U.S.A.). As Bangladesh is a fast developing country, a huge development activity is taking place regarding information technology in the related segments. Greenland Information Technology is the tire of the Group which is involved in this activity.
