A focused accelerator program for early-stage green technology startups working with resources and materials, manufacturing processes, and business model innovation. The program has been designed by Buildit Accelerator (experience accelerating 14 batches & ~100 startups). It’s a 3-month hybrid program with several boot camps, hands-on coaching, and 1:1 mentoring. Apply to access the program: 📌 Participate in a boot camp in Riga, Latvia, and in an international demo day during the sTARTUp Day business festival in Tartu, Estonia. 📌 Investment up to 50k€ (convertible loan) to best-performing teams. Options for follow-on investments up to 250k€ by Buildit with other investors. 📌 Find a twinning partner – a potential client or collaboration project from the EIT Manufacturing ecosystem. 📌 Mentors from Buildit Accelerator, University of Tartu, Baltic Innovation Agency, Aerospace Valley, INEGI, and INESC TEC. 📌 Access to EIT network for further funding and networking opportunities. Requirements for the teams: ✏️ Early-stage startups and teams working in green technologies related to materials or resources, manufacturing processes, or business model innovation. ✏️ Located in the EU. ✏️ Technology readiness levels (TRL) 5+, lower TRL will be considered case by case. ✏️ Stage of the company in pre- or early revenue. ✏️ Up to 2 years old (if a legal entity has been registered). ✏️ Minimum of two team members. ✏️ Fully committed to the program. Program participation cost is 1% equity, taken by EIT Manufacturing. The 1# Batch will run from April to June 2022, with a demo day in August. The boot camps and sprints focus on topics like green manufacturing, circular economy, business modeling, product development & design thinking, financing, sales-marketing, fundraising-pitching, and industry contacts. The goal of the acceleration program is to help companies become investable.
