Gridiron West is a dynamic, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of American football in Western Australia. Affiliated with the Western Australian Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries, as well as Gridiron Australia, we have been a driving force in the sport since our inception in 1988. Our league offers a variety of competitive and recreational opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels. From full-kit tackle gridiron for Men, Women, and Under 20s, to our exciting new flag football competition, Gridiron West is committed to providing an inclusive, community-driven environment where players, coaches, and fans can thrive. As the proud home of the WA Raiders—our state representative team—we continue to elevate Western Australia’s presence on the national stage. Our commitment to diversity is evident in our support for women's gridiron, which has been growing since 2017, and we are excited to see flag football take off as it gains worldwide recognition.
