Grocery Outpost was founded in response to the alarming Harvard Business Review statistic that 70% of restaurants won’t make it through the COVID-19 shut down. Our goal is to help local, independently owned restaurants beat that statistic. At Grocery Outpost, we strive to: Provide independent restaurants a significant, sustainable and hands-off additional revenue stream week-over-week that they can count on Empower independent restaurants to connect with their guests in new ways by continuing to be the food curators and cultural hubs of their neighborhoods. Create opportunities for interactions with their guests centered around food that are outside of the physical restaurant space Preserve the culinary culture and beloved institutions of our neighborhoods
