Groentetas provides local vegetables to people in Utrecht with two collection points, one at the science park and one at the Parnassos. Our mission is increased environmental and financial sustainability in agriculture in the Netherlands which we are achieving through our short supply chain with local, mostly organic, farmers. Order before midnight on Sundays to pick up your veggies on Wednesdays.
De Groentetas is een non-profit studenten initiatief waarbij Utrechters wekelijks groenten en fruit kunnen bestellen. Wij werken met een zo kort mogelijke keten, we vinden het belangrijk dat de boer een eerlijke prijs krijgt. Klanten kopen de groentetas tegen inkoopprijs. Onze producten zijn lokaal, zonder verpakking en meestal biologisch. Ons doel in om studenten bewust te maken over hun consumptie. Onze peilers zijn betaalbaar - duurzaam - eerlijk - eenvoudig. Sinds dit jaar is daar educatie bij gekomen. Zo leren onze klanten wat er in het seizoen is, verruimen we hun groenten-vocabulair, weten ze wat van welke boer komt, we rijken daarnaast plantaardige recepten aan en ook nemen klanten hun eigen tas mee.
