Serve as an elected trustee to the Grosse Ile Township Board of Trustees. Among other duties, I am the Liaison to the Planning Commission and Police Commission.
The part-time board of trustees provides oversight to the paid Township Administration and employees. The board has many State Mandated duties along with duties defined by local ordinances and policies.
The “general” duties and responsibilities of a trustee are:
- To vote on all township issues as the township's legislators,
- To be responsible for township's fiduciary health,
- To handle other duties as assigned by the board.
