Groundvac was Established in 2009, we are a locally owned and operated business servicing the Mackay and surrounding areas. Groundvac uses a technique called Hydro Excavation (Non-destructive digging), combining high pressure water and vacuum to excavate the soil to expose underground services to eliminate costly damage. Some of our clients include Mackay Regional Council, BHP Billiton (BMA), Daly Bay Coal terminal and various builders, plumbers and electricians.
We have built a strong and reliable business base. We currently have Mine compliant hydro excavation trucks with 3000 litre spoil tanks, a 7 tonne excavator, skid steer loader (bobcat) and a 4 tonne tipper, all with trained operators. We are based in Mackay and our operating hours are 6am to 6pm but will be happy to work outside these hours on request.
