De familienaam Bruno heeft zich uitgebouwd tot merknaam. Op 28 april 1988 startten Giuliano Bruno en Angelo Bruno met één tankstation op de Hasseltweg te Genk. Even later kregen andere broers en de zus ook de ambitie om de naam verder te zetten, wat leidde tot het ontstaan van verschillende nieuwe tankstations. Ondertussen heeft Group Bruno een netwerk van 15 bemande en één onbemand Bruno Service Stations ontwikkeld in Belgisch Limburg.
Door de tijd heen zijn er echter ook andere activiteiten ontwikkeld en geoptimaliseerd. Zo kan je bij je dichtstbijzijnde Service Station ook een Bruno’s Foodcorner vinden en gingen wij voor start met Bruno il Ristorante. Ook heb je de mogelijk om van Bruno Carwash gebruik te maken, een wagen te huren bij Bruno Car Rental en je wagen veilig plaatsen in de Bruno Safe Parking. Al deze dynamische activiteiten worden centraal gecoördineerd door Group Bruno vanuit het hoofdkantoor te Genk.
Sinds 2006 worden alle Bruno vestigingen zelfstandig uitgebaat door franchisenemers. De concepten beheren en onderhouden is nu één van de taken van de grondleggers van Group Bruno.
