Le Groupe MDMP a été fondé en 1987 par des pêcheurs désireux de mettre en valeur leur ressource sur les marchés. Ils ont alors acquis une première usine à Paspébiac, en Gaspésie. Depuis, le Groupe a connu une expansion constante, particulièrement dans l’est du Québec.
Aujourd’hui, l’entreprise compte 7 usines réparties en Gaspésie et sur la Côte-Nord. Grâce à cette vaste couverture géographique, le Groupe dispose d’un avantage concurrentiel : l’accès à une grande variété d’espèces marines.
