The Groupement Forestier des Cantons Inc originated from the merger in 2022 of the two forestry groups, Aménagement Forestier et Agricole des Sommets Inc (1978) and Groupement Forestier du Haut Yamaska (1978). The establishment of each of these two forestry groups came from the desire of the forest landowners to develop their woodlots. With a modest beginning of 75 owners interested in forestry, the group has grown to nearly 2,200 members.
Our mission is to offer superior quality and tailor-made sustainable forest management services, while being respectful of the environment and biodiversity.
