GROW: Getting Ready for Opportunities & Work

GROW is a non-profit organization that began in October 2017 with Judge Terri Jamison and 7 passionate Ohio State students looking to bring about change, and impact the lives of justice-involved youth in the Columbus, Ohio community. GROW, an acronym for Getting Ready for Opportunities & Work, is structured on rehab and support of youth as they leave juvenile detention facilities and embark upon re-entry into society. The top priority of the organization is the providing of basic needs and transitional housing to youth, as well as job skills, mental health support, and other skills that foster independence and success. GROW looks to not only impact the lives of youth, but leave an entire community transformed for the better.
