GrowHouse Community Design + Development Group empowers Black people and our allies to become developers of our communities through collective ownership of artistic production, neighborhood real estate and land, businesses, and cultural institutions. Our work reclaims and shapes place and time through the intersection of design, collective economics, ancestral wisdom and technologies, and global citizenship - conjuring a flourishing, connected Black world through deep behavioral and systems change. By bringing artists and coders, chefs and activists, academics and non-traditional students together under one roof, we aim to build community and spark innovation that will transform our communities. Our work sits where art and technology, activism and entrepreneurship, education and travel meet - spheres of influence we believe will lead to the growth and empowerment of people of African-descent.
