Grow The Game

Grow the Game is an online resource that provides a space where discussions about racism and its impact on diversity and inclusion within sports can be discussed openly and honestly. The purpose of these discussions will be to empower individuals to acknowledge that racism does exist within a sporting context, specifically hockey, while equipping the community with the tools to counter racial discrimination. Grow the Game aims to facilitate individual and community discussion about racial discrimination in hockey and its impact on social participation. Grow the Game provides the community with a better understanding to foster equitable opportunities to participate in Canadian society. Being exposed to a multitude of resources, educational materials (e-learning), and knowing the impact racism has on players, the hockey community will be better equipped to confront racism and bigotry and grow our game.
