Bun/Buntech

Bun Group is a conglomerate formed by three companies in Brazil (Bentonit, Buntech and Kelco Pet Care) and other operations abroad (one in Argentina and two in Colombia). The company came up with the discovery and exploration of bentonite mines in Paraíba, this ore still being our main product, inserted now in a large, diversified and specialised mineral portfolio. Throughout our more than 50 years of existence, the various applications and functions of these minerals have expanded our business in a very diversified way. We operate in dozens of different markets and businesses, from heavy industry (casting, iron ore pelleting, construction), high added value markets (hygiene and cleaning, cosmetics, PVC additives, filtering elements) to massive consumer markets with a large company in the PET segment. Our team has 880 employees worldwide, 9 production plants and several distribution centers. Our administrative headquarters and our research and innovation center are in São Paulo.
