THE D’AMATO FAMILY HAS BEEN PRODUCING OLIVE OIL SINCE 1870. Today the company has 160 hectares of olive land with 20,000 olive trees. Olives are picked directly from the tree at while they are still green and do not touch the ground during harvesting operations, they are pressed with cold extraction within a few hours for maximum taste and health benefit. All manufacturing processes are also carried out in compliance with health and hygiene regulations, without altering the origins and traditions of the product. The D'Amato Company is located in Veglie (LECCE) in the green Salentinian countryside (Apulia region), a land kissed by the sun, just 10 km away from the sea.
