GSBC AMOR

G.S.B.C. AMOR is THE student badminton association in Groningen (the Netherlands). Founded in 1963, the club currently has over 130 members and 9 competitive teams. As an association, we offer memberships to students from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG) and Hanze University of Applied Sciences (HUAS). Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday our members come together to train in our beloved Struikhal (ACLO Sportscentre). In the weekends, this same hall is the place for our home matches and (international) tournaments, as it has been for decades. Aside from our athletic efforts, we also organise monthly socials, (training) camps and activities such as ice skating, galas and barbecues. G.S.B.C. AMOR is fully run by and for students, making it not only a sports association, but also a great place for students to gain experience and learn organisational skills.
