The Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur has evolved as a rapidly developing university for the young women of South Punjab. In our mission to contribute to national development, GSCW University strives hard to stand out as a center of excellence that is able to develop dynamic leaders, independent thinkers and creative entrepreneurs. GSCWU founded as an Inter College for Girls by the philanthropist Nawab of Bahawalpur state, Sir Sadiq Khan Abbasi V in 1944 and later upgraded into a Degree College in 1957, it became a university under the Punjab Govt Act in 2013
