The Global Society for Supply Chain Professional (GSSCP) is meant for serving as a top notch-networking hub for the country’s supply chain professionals. Starting the footsteps on 19 December 2017 with the courage and endeavor of 19 Executive Members, GSSCP is the pioneer initiative for the communication platform among the supply value chain community in Bangladesh with a unique slogan “Connecting Value Chain”. PURPOSE AND SCOPE The concept of ‘Supply Chain’ in business world is becoming very important as it involves management of total business operations and making calculative strategic decisions for an organization. A right ‘Supply Chain’ is vital for businesses to survive and to remain in a winning position in today’s competitive market worldwide. However, for being a new concept and for being ‘Unique’ in nature for every organization’s requirement, professionals involved in supply value chain are continuously seeking knowledge relevant to supply chain profession for implementing at their organization. Where our uniqueness has brought us most comfortable with existing more than 500 members across the industry. The family has become most familiar in the overall SCM industry, thus growing BIG every day. To prepare current and future supply chain professionals in Bangladesh, we (GSSCP) started a new series of ongoing series of events for the first time entitled but not limited to ‘GSSCPians ADDA on Supply Chain Management’, ‘GSSCP workshop on supply chain challenges and its best possible solution’ and of course the Meet Up sessions with enormous Networking opportunities where, supply chain professionals from different organizations will participate to exchange their real field knowledges, techniques and ideas on regular facing issues and thus develop the community besides creating a world class superb professional networking hub thru GSSCP platform.
