As the rapid pace of technology impacts every aspect of our working lives, not least how we work and learn, educational institutes need to adapt to meet the challenges and opportunities that technological advancements and global trends shaping the future of education and training to meet the growing demands for the 21st century skills. GTEL is an annual event on the most important developments, trends, technologies, and practices, shaping the future of e-learning. This forum fosters the exchange of knowledge and helps academics to discover changes ahead related to education and training. GTEL will be attended by top policy makers and e-learning leaders from Saudi Arabia and will include speakers from prestigious entities. The aim is to create a platform to support the provision of high quality, efficient, advanced, and widely accessible learning. GTEL consists of three different components and are highlighted as follows: Educate (GTEL – talks) - Learn from keynotes, sessions and training on emerging knowledge, technologies, and practices. Engage (GTEL – Workshops) - Connect with peers and experts around the globe to share best practices. Explore (GTEL–Exhibition) - Evaluate and experience future e-learning products and technologies.
