The Griffith University Association of Commerce (GUAC) begun as the amalgamation of student societies previously specialising in accounting and finance, as well as investment and trading. After successfully merging the societies together, GUAC became the primary commerce society operating in the Brisbane campuses of Griffith University. Since 2017, GUAC has represented students in the areas of Accounting, Economic, Finance, Financial Planning, and Taxation. The society strives to create and promote opportunities that supports students through their degrees.
