Founded in 2008, we are a biotech company with two primary areas of business: Preclinical contract research organization (CRO) services and proprietary early target and drug discovery programs. Our focus is the metabolic space (e.g. obesity, diabetes, MASH and gastrointestinal diseases), where we specialize in peptide chemistry, in vivo pharmacology, ex vivo assays, molecular pharmacology, histology, imaging, stereology, NGS (next generation sequencing) and bioinformatics. Gubra is an abbreviation for GUt and BRAin, the original key focus areas of our research and expertise. We work with some of the most interesting and loyal partners and customers from across the world in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry as well as academia.
