Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE) is a community benefit society, established to improve local community resilience in the face of increasing energy costs and climate change - enabling the local residents to do something real and lasting about climate change.
It is clear that everyone – not just governments and corporates but households and communities too – everyone has a role to play. And that is why GUCE exists.

Grand Union Community Energy is a Community Benefit Society (registration no. 32056R) whose purpose is to improve local community resilience in the face of increasing energy costs and climate change.
Investments
GUCE’s financial model allows us to reward our shareholders with around 3% interest a year, redeem shareholdings at a proportionate rate to our asset value each year, retain cash to provide for future expenses and liabilities and allocate the remainder to our Community Fund for projects which help improve local community resilience in the face of increasing energy costs and climate change.
