Up until 1998 Guerilla had the UK distribution rights to over fifty films from one of France’s top independent production company’s les films du losange. These films directed by some of France’s most eminent filmmakers – Eric Rohmer, Barbet Schroeder, Claude Chabrol, Jean-Luc Goddard, Jacques Rivette, Roger Planchon etc.
However in 1998 Guerilla Films decided only to release British & Irish films/ co-productions. In the history of the British film industry no other UK distribution company has made such a strong commitment to British films. To the company has released over 70 feature films.
