Guild Care was originally established in 1933 by a group of pioneers who were passionate about creating a kinder society to support people and their families in and around Worthing. In 2023 we celebrate 90 years of expert community support and care in Worthing.
We are Worthing’s largest and most established social care charity, supporting over 3,000 people every year through our diverse range of community services. These services support older people, people living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities.
Our Community Services and Care Homes have positively impacted thousands of vulnerable people requiring additional support.
We believe that nobody should feel isolated; as a charity we aim to reduce social isolation and social stigma. It is our commitment to make sure that our teams have time to care and support those we care for to live well, enjoy life and love every day.
We’re one of the largest employers in Worthing with over 550 loving, dedicated, and committed staff. We also have around 250 amazing volunteers.
