This is the official page of GIDB (Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board). The GID (Gujarat Infrastructure Development) Act was enacted in 1999 which gives legal framework and roadmap for promoting Public Private Partnership (PPP) in infrastructure sector. GIDB facilitates the development of infrastructure through private investment in the state.
Gujarat Special Investment Region (SIR) Act, 2009 was enacted for development of large sized Special Investment Regions with world class infrastructure and premier civic amenities. GIDB is the apex authority for approval of Town Planning Schemes under the SIR Act.
