The Gulf 12 Hours race was launched at the beginning of 2012 and has established itself as a benchmark for GT motorsport events in the Arabian Gulf region. Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi has become the traditional home of the Gulf 12 Hours and has hosted 12 of the 13 editions, with Bahrain International Circuit holding a one-off running of the event in 2021. In 2024, the Gulf 12 Hours will take place on 15 December.
