GVD’s Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Global Excellence
Founded in 2003 as a panel mounting company, GVD has consistently pursued growth and innovation, setting new goals annually and achieving them with unwavering determination.
Recognizing the critical importance of certification and quality from the outset, GVD began exporting in 2005, acquiring the GOST-R certificate required for the Russian market and successfully completing key projects in the region.
In 2007, GVD made a pivotal move by investing in high-cost machinery to manufacture its own panels under the GVD brand. By 2008, GVD’s brand was certified with Type Test and ISO standards for 4000A 80kA Form 4B panels, marking the launch of its first overseas sales of empty cabinet systems.
By 2011, GVD expanded its production capabilities further, introducing Turkey's first domestically produced MCC panels with drawers. The company also integrated ERP and MRP systems to optimize management and production processes.
In 2012, GVD enhanced its manufacturing capacity with a Roll-Form Line investment. This facilitated the production of specially designed closed-type profiles featuring 27 bends, resulting in stronger, more durable panels. These innovations elevated the IP rating of GVD products from IP55 to IP65. To validate these advancements, GVD’s fixed and withdrawable panels underwent rigorous Type Test Certification, Internal Arc Tests, and Seismic Tests at KEMA laboratories in the Netherlands and Virlab laboratories in Spain.
