About The George Washington University Joint Elections Commission
The Joint Elections Commission (JEC) is the primary elections facilitator for all 26,000 undergraduate and graduate students at The George Washington University. Chartered by the University's Student Association (SA), the JEC is responsible for facilitating and regulating the University's Student Body Elections. These elections include races for the Student Association (SA) President, Executive Vice President, and Senate; the Program Board (PB) Chair and Vice Chair, and the Class Council (CC) President, Vice President, and Class Representatives. Consisting of an appointed Chair and six Deputy Commissioners, the body is charged with advocating for elections reform, promoting a fair elections cycle, and managing GW's elections,
