Gwoup Konbit

Gwoup Konbit is a social movement and platform facilitating connections, resource sharing and knowledge exchange between leaders and groups who adhere to the principles of konbit, including solidarity, equity, reciprocity, responsibility and the collaboration. It aims to promote sustainable, locally-led social development by supporting groups throughout Haiti in their efforts to implement konbit-based projects. Vision: Making KONBIT a transformational collective leadership movement in Haiti. Mission: KONBIT AYISYEN POU DEVLOPMAN, better known as GWOUP KONBIT, has the mission of bringing together human, material and financial resources in order to serve the Haitian community through sustainable and beneficial initiatives for the community. Its main objective is to promote collective leadership of a KONBIT character in Haiti. To achieve this, it pursues the following sub-objectives: - Strengthen the capacities of community leaders; - Create a social movement based on the values and principles of konbit: - Develop institutional partnership; - Promote the Konbit spirit in various areas: Leadership, conflict management, community development, communication and mobilization, community initiative management and civic engagement for real and effective social change in Haiti.
