The Global Youth Consortium to End TB is a youth led movement working together to get rid of TB. Even though TB is curable, it still exists, and we at GYC2EndTB are taking a stand to bridge the gap in TB elimination efforts. We support the 1+1 initiative, which started in 2019. This initiative, launched by the World Health Organization (WHO), urges young people to join the fight against TB by taking small actions that can have a big impact. We talk to people in their communities, raising awareness, educating others, and encouraging those with Suspected TB to get screened and complete their treatment by organizing online and offline campaigns.
