H &M Roller Technologies (Pty) Ltd is an independant South African company which was founded in 1999 through a joint venture between Hannecard in Belgium and Mitex in Germany. The reason for founding the company was the results of a feasibility survey conducted during 1997 and 1998 indicated that South African industries had a requirement for improved roller cover qualities. In 2005 H&M Roller Technologies (Pty) Ltd acquired Rubber Rollers (Pty) Ltd, a company active in the roller business since 1970, to form the largest rubber and polyurethane roller covering company in Africa.
