Hybrid-Airplane Technologies GmbH (HAT) is a spin-off of the University of Stuttgart and has developed the patented unmanned flight system h-aero™, now ready for serial production while representing an improved flight concept able to serve tomorrow’s needs. Even at the current state of development it already tackles unsolved challenges on the market for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and flies with zero emissions. The basis is the science-backed combination of long established flight concepts (i.e. helicopter, fix wing aircraft, balloon) such as to preserve their respective advantages while overcoming their respective disadvantages by creating a synergistic arrangement of the components. The flight concept introduced in the following document represents a new way of flying. The flight system is optimized to be powered by renewable energy. The business consists of continuing development and marketing of our innovative hybrid aircraft and complementary R&D.
