About Us Since 1997 H.E.M.E. Pty Ltd has been providing the Central Highlands with engineering solutions for the Mining, Civil and Agricultural Industries. We have expanded across four blocks giving us a large machine shop, heavy metal fabrication shop, sandblasting, painting, and CNC Plasma Cutter sheds to increase our capacity and further our services on offer. We currently employ twenty-six fulltime professionals. Over the years our clients have relied on us for rapid turnaround times and know us for being a "one stop shop" for all their fabrication & repairs. We have undertaken numerous major projects with major organisations within the Bowen Basin and are a preferred supplier for some. Machine Shop – all your machining needs can be met - Manual lathes (up to 4m beds), CNC Lathe, Machine Centre, Horizontal Borer, Mills, Drills, Hydraulic Slotter, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Tapping, Line Borers & ID Welding, Hydraulic Cylinders & customised design, Hydraulic strip down bench for large cylinders. Fabrication Shop – all your design, fabrication & certification needs can be met – Welders, Section Rolls, Guillotine, CNC Press Brake, CNC Profile Cutting, TIG Welding, Spray Welding, Punching & Shearing, Site compliant Mobile Welding Trucks. Sandblasting & Painting Booths – sandblasting and painting for refurbished and new implements/items. Hypertherm CNC Plasma Cutter – 9m x 3m Bed, High definition, true hole, dual bevel head for low cost fabrication General – Autoclave for hot vulcanising pulleys, wash down bay for rebuilds and overhauls, AutoCAD & Inventor Drawing, drafting & certification, Tilt truck, Car hoist.
