H2 Springboard is a hydrogen technology development ecosystem aiming to empower a competitive hydrogen economy.
Led by ABB and set in Finland, H2 Springboard runs on a lean integrated collaboration model where technological research, solution development, validation, and piloting are run in parallel. The time for implementing hydrogen technologies is reduced to a fraction, and the solutions created are modular, standardized, and immediately scalable to markets.
This allows high-impact investments faster and more cost-effectively than ever before.
The ecosystem’s founding partners represent the whole value chain, and work together to minimize the levelized cost of hydrogen and empower a competitive hydrogen economy.
Investments by the ecosystem are supported by Business Finland. The program is set to run for 5 years, working towards unlocking an estimated €20B value for the Finnish economy through hydrogen related technologies and services.
