About H2020 DESOLINATION project
DESOLINATION gathers 19 partners from Europe and the Gulf Cooperation region. Starting in 2021, this 10M€ project funded by the European Commission, will build a first-of-a-kind plant producing fresh water out of solar energy. The demonstrator will be sent to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for testing in 2024.
