Purpose of the H2Global Foundation is the promotion of environmental and climate protection. This purpose is fulfilled through measures that promote the production and use of green hydrogen and other climate-neutral energy carriers.
The foundation supports activities that contribute to an improved use of these energy sources through scientific, journalistic, and other activities such as consulting.
The foundation is also dedicated to the implementation of the H2Global funding instrument, which pursues an auction-based promotion of the timely ramp-up of the international green hydrogen and Power-to-X economy. The German government is providing funding of 900 million euros for the instrument.
The foundation currently represents 18 companies along the entire power-to-X value chain. The H2Global Foundation is happy to welcome further donors.
