Haar Sauna was founded in August 2021 by Callum Scott and Hannah Mary Goodlad who wanted to bring Scandinavian sauna culture to Scotland.
Our mission is to connect people with nature and enhance wellbeing through the power of deep heat.
The journey began in Aberdeen when we converted our first recycled horsebox into a Scandinavian-style sauna. We created Scotland's first outdoor mobile sauna, with revenue generated primarily through the sale of sauna sessions.
Haar Sauna became a limited company in October 2023, when we brought our outdoor sauna experience 60 degrees north to Shetland. Our new fixed location offers both tourists and locals a new experience, on one of the most famous beaches in Scotland: St. Ninian’s Beach.
