Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha & Jefferson Counties builds decent, affordable homes with families who are unable to purchase a home through traditional methods. Habitat does not give houses away; we believe in giving a hand up, not a handout.
By providing a home with an affordable mortgage, homeowners obtain self-sufficiency and break the cycle of poverty. We believe it takes a community to build a community, so we hope you will join in supporting our mission.
Partner families contribute "sweat equity" hours per adult to take the place of a down payment. Volunteers contribute time and talent to reduce labor costs. Our ReStore revenue, sponsorship, and donations help to reduce construction costs.
