In 1947, Clifford and Kitty Hach were also reinventing water analysis in Ames, Iowa. Armed with an advanced understanding of analytical chemistry and a passion to make a difference, the founders set out to simplify water analysis. With such similar passions for clear and simple water analysis, the two companies became one under the Danaher Life Sciences Group.
