Hack the Woodz

The best way to predict the future is to create it. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or have never touched an IDE before, get ready for a weekend full of creating and innovating at Hack the Woodz. Hack the Woodz is a beginner-focused hackathon & ideathon hosted by students from the Woodlands Secondary School. Hack the Woodz will be running virtually, allowing any student to join! Participants have 24 hours to create any project that excites them, with no restrictions on the topic. There are three tracks: a Pitch-Only track; a Coding track; a Hardware track. The Pitch-Only track is your chance to show off your ideation and presentation skills. Projects will be marked solely based on originality, social impact, business value, and execution. The traditional Coding track is marked based on technology, learning, design, and completion. The hardware track is focused on the integration of hardware and software, and the creativity of the resultant project.
