Hack Trent 2024 is the fifth edition of Trent University's esteemed hackathon series, formerly known as Electric City Hacks. Over the past four events, we've built a strong reputation for fostering innovation, creativity, and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds.
This year, we are rebranding as Hack Trent and are excited to host our most ambitious hackathon yet at Trent University’s Student Centre. From November 8-10, 2024, we will welcome over 250+ talented students from across North America to Peterborough, Ontario, for a 48-hour marathon of designing, building, and demoing cutting-edge projects.
Our hackathon is open to everyone, including beginners. You don't need to know how to code to join—we welcome diverse skill sets and encourage creativity and collaboration. Hack Trent is an MLH (Major League Hacking) sanctioned event.
