Hack4Blood is a strategic initiative by Spectrum Analytics & National Blood Transfusion Services to engage the public, private sector and academia on co-creating sustainable solutions to the prevailing blood shortage challenge in Botswana.
Inspired by our cultural self reliance & collaboration spirit of "motho le motho Kgomo" ,the project leverages an ecosystem approach to assess the blood shortage challenge and ideate on possible sustainable solutions.
The project aims to :
1.Immerse the public and all stakeholders in an open and collaborative process for hacking for solutions.
2.Showcase the immense power of inclusive innovation and collective intelligence in creating high impact solutions.
3.Co-create with the public to solution for the ‘blood shortage’ problem.
4.Highlight the potential of digital technologies in addressing our pressing community challenges.
