HackHumanity is an action-oriented initiative, designed for individuals and groups who are ready to get to work. The aim and rationale of the hackathon is to mobilize the sleeping giant of “the commons” through creating collaborative. The global socio-economic system that we have created is incapable of addressing the problems that it itself has created. We are acting locally and globally to address the root cause, as well as the symptoms, of all of our challenges that have been brought to a head due to coronavirus and the climate crisis. It is reasonable to expect amplified shockwaves in the coming months and years in all sectors but most critically with food, water and shelter, under our current monetary system. It is time to stop asking whether we have enough money and instead question whether we have the resources to meet everyone’s basic needs. The answer is yes we do, but money, or lack thereof, stands in the way. It is unreasonable to expect our governments or industry to come to our rescue, but through global coordinated mutual aid we can bring about a whole new solidarity and self-resiliency. Besides the continuing global water crisis and global hunger crisis, there are many other critical challenges that need to be addressed as a matter of urgency. Through collaboration WorldSummit & Envienta produced a series of video's that explore our options to support Humanity's Phase Shift. HackHumanity is also an international think-tank, coordination and consultancy platform by partners WorldSummit & Envienta & P2P Foundation to support world leaders, nations and citizens to transition from the current degenerative and unsustainable paradigm to a holistic regenerative and sustainable paradigm that works positively for all people, planet and nature. To support this process we created a deck of ‘Transition Tactics’ containing over 60 proposals to guide us from the current paradigm to the new paradigm.
